What if BitcoinCash crashes before Coinbase supports it on Jan 1, 2018

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

We don't have access to our BCC until next year. With the uncertainty of this new Altcoin there is a solid chance it could crash and by the time we get our shot it will be all gone.

Is it possible they know something we don't know about BCC and thinks it will crash before they have to pay it out (highly doubt it) but you never know.

Although I'm sure the exchange doesn't have to pay anything, its the actual currency.....am I right?

Just a thought/concern

I'm confused, did coinbase decide to support it then? Coinbase has their issues but they did warn everyone in plenty of time. My BCC is waiting on 8 more confs and then i can decide if I want to sell on bittrex. So people now can sell and access if they used a hardware wallet or a supported wallet. It's not like everyone has to wait till next year just those that did not heed the warning.

I heard online they decided to take it on January 1, 2018. It's all over the news!

Wasn't Bitcoin Cash being sued by someone over the hard split? It does seem like Bitcoin Cash is on the ropes, poised to flop off and crash. OR, it could perhaps skyrocket and its a good idea to hold a little bit? I honestly don't know.
