Hey everyone.
This is my first post in the Steemit community so I should probably give a bit of background...
I have become a bit of a crypto enthusiast since I joined a London-based graduate scheme back in 2012 and some of my cohort were discussing Bitcoin and Litecoin - shortly ahead of a huge Litecoin bull run that captivated us all and hooked us in to the crypto world. At this time I was such a novice I remember asking the others if I could store Bitcoin in my regular bank account... a question that I answer for people often these days!
I noted Steemit back when it launched... can't believe it's taken me so long to get on here!
About 18 months ago, partly because of my growing interest in crypto and mostly because I realised I was sat watching far too much 'Come Dine With Me' with my life, I began teaching myself to code. It was been an incredible journey with lots of hard work and involving a huge new network of passionate friends I am very thankful for. I hope to write more posts about this but for today I'll leave it with the announcement that I finally got my first job as a developer! :D
*Any tips on how to centre images? I've checked around and it looks like I should switch the editor to Raw HTML... but the option isn't there for me...

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe if you begin entering a post in the editor right now, it won't let you switch the editor format midway through. See if the raw HTML option is there initially.
I still use a markdown editor program and then copy paste into the site editor. Until all the kinks are worked out and more features added, I find it easiest.
