Due to the high mining fees and terrible transaction times caused by the log jams of bitcoin core's small block sizes, Bitpay announced, on 12/15/17 that BCH will be the default for payment invoices and debit card loads in 2018, although bitcoin core may still be used. From where I stand, I saw this as only a matter of time. This coming year is going to be huge for the crypto space! Lace your boots up!
