Nice! Farming needs an open source platform to share technologies. I would like to see that industry open up and new players get in. Monopolization of agriculture is not good for human survival

Regarding Forced Farming in Venezuela

Good find. America needs to get our game face on and preempt these challenges. I say we return to the Homestead Act created by our founding fathers to give away vacant, unused land to farmers willing to improve and make use of the land organically. This is what our country was founded on and how my great great grandparents started their farm in Alabama. I would love to start a farm myself but land is "too expensive" - only thing stopping me and tons of other young people
I believe humanity will either, out of necessity and survival, create, discover and implement open source food/farming platform tech or go into full food/farming civil disobedience. The first would be a much smoother and higher conscious transition. The latter will probably lead to arrests and a further clampdown. I watch what is happening in Venezuela and hope better solutions can emerge.
Yup. The revolution is fertile my friend. Look at Cuba, before the US got back in there. All organic, self sufficient communities. We all just gotta get our hands dirty. Most probably won't, clinging to their comfortable desk job, until there is no longer food on our shelves like Venezuela.
Perhaps both roads lead to the same outcome. In Venezuela, the government may be forcing a mandate that says all citizen must participate in farming due to the food crisis. Either way, our hands are getting dirty. I think proactive farming will be preferred to state-sponsored conscription into forced farming.
Proactive, voluntary farming is def the way to go! Can you imagine what state sponsored farming would look like? Would probably use taxpayer dollars to buy and force monsanto seeds and chemicals on us
