It would be nice, but maybe in the longer run. Bitcoin can well take over its role (as installed SegWit Coin already, meaning LTC) . In the short term everyone might just jump onto BTC, but that is just an opinion of myself. I'm not quite clear jet. In this last downturn were BTC lost 38% in Euro terms LTC held up compared to the other Alt-Coins like ETH etc. quit well even though it lost also quite a bit. ETH I think lost more then 50% but check that again.

Bitcoin will grow up, but Litecoin more.
Well that is the question, will Litcoin keep up or will it dimple around. At the moment it is also taking off. If it can keep up the momentum great.
