Have been following steemit for a month or so now and this i my first post, finally jumping in the pool!
I have been involved with Bitcoin since the beginning and remember my first BTC transaction and the feeling that came after that... This technology is utterly amazing... The excitement to watch it, from what it was, and what it has become, has me constantly in agony when people call them "Crypto Currencies".
These are not "Crypto Currencies" this is a revolution in a protocol based internet a true www version 2.0. Yes, some have functions that operate in a way to transact value, but that is the tip of the iceberg to put it lightly. This is technological evolution, the internet has been operating in a 2 dimensional world with HTTP, and now a 3d layer endless protocols are being build on top of it.
So please stop calling them "Crypto Currencies", this is the beginning of the Multiverse, where each protocol is its own universe and the internet is simply the vehicle to connect them.
