This week, several luxury apartments in Budva were sold for cryptocurrency. The total amount of acquisition was 420 bitcoins, the transaction was conducted by Astra Montenegro Investment Association (AMIA).

"We are trying to attract new customers. In Europe, there is not much real estate that can be bought for cryptocurrency."
One of the buyers was a 25-years resident of France. He said that buying property through the crypt is much easier than the usual way. The legality of the transaction was also taken into account: the process was watched by lawyers from the local Prosecutor's office. After signing the papers, the sent bitcoins were immediately converted into euros.
