It happened again! I tried to have a crypto-free lunch but I couldn't
Work day... we had a meeting in the morning and we went for lunch right after.
Everything was normal until someone started talking about... Bitcoin. My friend was just next to me talking enthusiastically and some more people became interested in the talk. I decided to play dead but it didn't work. Almost immediately I got directly asked:
- Do you own bitcoin? Did you buy bitcoin? At what price?
Well... I guess it's on its way to become mainstream.

I just started a Bitcoin class... who knows really where all this will lead? All this posting and buying and trading will have future ramifications as the masses accept it. Many jobs will disappear from attorneys to bankers, while others appear such as teachers and journalists in the cryptos.
Good luck with that project. I'm sure it will be very useful for those attending. They will like it and soon will find out it was a good investment.
That's a fun story. Thanks for sharing. Does this happen a lot to you? I still don't get any friends or family asking, except to tease me, and I have been talking about it for a couple months already.
It has happened many times lately. I introduced some people to crypto and I know it will always be a topic with them but now I see myself pushed to lots of talks with other people on the subject. People are becoming interested. Most only for profit profit profit without realizing this is a complete game changer but it's ok : )
Yep, Game changer.
I tried to explain how meaningful blockchain is to someone the other day and he was so unimpressed. It reminds me of an old video clip I saw online where a news crew are casually talking about the internet and they are clueless about it, but more telling is that they seem to think its no big deal. Same with crypto for most people in my opinion.
Maybe there is no such thing as a "coincidence" where the universe is concerned!
Can I ask you a question? Well that was a question in itself. The little eyeball means how many people have viewed it, is that correct? How can a post be viewed less than it's upvote? One upvote always = one upvote, though the weight of each person's vote carries more VALUE. Is that correct?
yes, you're right. It means someone upvoted without actually reading the post.
Why would they do that?
