Ebay would need to use Bitcoin Cash not legacy Bitcoin if they expect to have users move the funds around with low fee's. The unfortunate part about a major marketplace like this accepting crypto, will put Open Bazaar out of business over night.
It may hurt a little but alot of people have very unfavorable views of eBay so there would probably still be an audience for it. One cool thing would be people who are banned from Paypal but not from eBay may be able to get back on and selling again
They would be smart to go the Overstock.com route and use shapeshift to accept multiple types of currencies. They are getting their ass kicked by Amazon in many arenas so doing what the public wants would be smart.

Can't see it for the same reason Steam is no longer accepting Bitcoin, too volatile. You can actually accept Bitcoin through Etsy, too.
