BITFINEX: Hunting season for HACKER OPEN

in #bitcoin8 years ago

Bitfinex Exchange is offering a reward of $ 3.6 million (~ 5900 bitcoin or 5% of the amount stolen) to anyone who can help return the funds to the accounts of the exchange members.

Zan Taketa (Zane Tackett), Community Manager Bitfinex, published this announcement in social networks. Man, group of people, which will help return stolen money or be able to provide valuable information, will be rewarded accordingly. If these people / groups will be more, the bonus will be distributed proportionally among all.

There are a few logical explanations for this effect:

  1. There is a good chance that a group of hackers, do not think that a hacker could have a crank that is not shared with each other, and always will be a person who considers that he has done more than his colleagues. Statistics show that in 37% of cases, and so there is no longer a monetary goal and a moral (theft, bank robberies). It's more a psychological attack.

  2. Bitfinex really are in deep chocolate crater. Established programmers can not get on the trail of hackers. This action can be associated with a cry of despair, suddenly someone will be able to help them.

Where did they take the 5% and will pay, I think, do not need to explain.

Good bounty!

Im glad I stopped using them. Risky business keeping your btc in exchanges. Just avoid it at all costs. Trust me, been burnt too many times to trust them with my btc overnight. Lol

New era of crypto-bounty hunters has began! Have a good hunt
