Bitcoin is actually going to gradually lose ground over time... it is already being fazed out as an exchange currency, Stripe for one, as the fees are too high, the transactions too slow, apparently now by the time they go through the price is wrong, so many are invalid. More useable cryptocurrencies will eclipse it in all areas, ones currently available, Ethereum as it concept and its modus operandi, it is also Turing complete and will move away from proof of mining to proof of stake. Bitcoin mining is already showing less and less return for investment in mining, and is forecast to get much worse, where the amount of computational power and power to mine it will exceed its worth. So Ethereum & Ether fo rone is much more usable, flexible and scalable. Also there are going to be many more ICO, some of which will fail while others flourish and continually improve. I must admit a lot of people talk and write on cryptocurrencies & Blockchain, but much of it seems to be gas, without that much of an idea not only how it works, but also its full potential, which needs the imagination to even begin to understand. Even people that I have read that have the technical expertise seem generally to lack the imagination to even begin to grasp what it really is and where it could go... And mentioning new ICO's UNESCO is looking at making their own, so their funding gets to who it is supposed too... Probably to be continued...
