Early Bitcoin Investor Reveals Which Cryptocurrencies He Would HODL Or FODL | CNBC
This guy is a shiller of bcash don't listen to him... same can be said about litecoin it's faster and better then bcash but it doesn't mean it better then bitcoin... the most decentralised coin out there and has no one leading it unlike bcash which is controlled and hyped by Roger ver
Can someone help me understand what the difference is between all these crypto currencies? they all seem to try and do the same thing more or less, and while there are thousands of them, what are the odds that i choose the correct one to invest in?
Projects like PundiX (npxs) have real world ready to use products, I'm still waiting for XRP to do something meaningful with all those fancy so called "partnerships" they have.
I honestly think that Ripple is not going to be worth very much in the future. And not because Ripple is going to be unsuccessfull… I believe it will be successful . It’s because XRP has very little value when their competitors can offer the same exact services without the need for a native asset.
Ripple’s core competition are the new breed of ‘permissioned’ blockchains that have been developed by Hyperledger, JP Morgan , and R3 Corda. These blockchains do the same things as Ripple, offering to trade financial assets on the blockchain without high costs.
But what Ripple’s competitors realized was that they could offer transactions without any fees by utilizing identity management in their blockchain service. This makes sense, as even Ripple designed the concept of ‘Trust Lines’ so that banks would only work with organizations they had previous relationships with. The permissioned blockchains just took this a step further and focused only on these trusted relationships. Without the native asset, of course.
The problem with XRP is that it’s not enabling any new features, but adding an additional cost that the competition does not have.
I don’t believe that this will harm Ripple Labs in the short term. But if the cost of XRP keeps rising and banks have to pay more to use Ripple, Ripple Labs has the ability to give XRP away for free or flood the market with XRP to bring the price down. After all, they do own a majority of the XRP available to the world and have the ability to use it as they please.
The reason they would devalue their own currency is because Ripple is competing to win the financial banking industry, not to create the highest market cap currency. Cheap XRP serves their organization much more than expensive XRP.
I really do believe Brad Garlington and Ripple Labs are doing good work, and there’s nothing nefarious about their use of XRP. In a way, it was only natural to think that other blockchain competitors would follow suit and create their own currency, making XRP’s cryptoeconomics common. The problem is that the market changed to put them in an awkward situation… one that I think Brad would rather not have.
I lost $5000 when I started trading it was devastating, I was lost until I found a comment about Mr. March, I contacted him and he promised to help me not only to recover my lost money but to earn for the rest of my life, now I make as much as $8000 every week from his trading, he is reliable, honest, consistent and very experienced, contact him [email protected] to start making massive profits
Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't ripple claim to burn a small amount of xrp for every transaction? And if they continue to sign with Banks and corporations, won't the future value of xrp go up as its use increases?
The video seems to be informative with nice idea ,but i have tried so many mining systerm ,even with the video i doesn't make any amount of Bitcoin rather i keep on loosing ,but you can give a try to Mr johns systerm to see how profitable it working for me now .you can contact him ([email protected])
Every token that ends up registering with the SEC will by default be understood as centralized... at least by those who are smart. I'm sure there are still plenty of idiots following the latest exciting token like a lemming.
This guy is pretty accurate with the Hodl Fodl. BTC has run its course. Its just a currency now. There are actual cryptos out there that are huge projects with real life use. And most of those projects require Ether to survive. I dont see a use for BTC anymore. I could care less ab BCash either. It seems to be the same as BTC to me.
The selling of bitcoin and ethereum to buy more attractive tokens/coins is true. The question is which Alt coins to buy? DYOR (do your own research), and spread your funds in a handful of coins. Bottom line, bitcoin is the flagship and moves the crypto market.
DID YOU HEAR THE MOST IMPORTANT PART???😀😀 SEC WANTS CRYPTO TO REGISTER WITH THEM. they have no authority over it, all they can do is threaten you with lies. There is no law for people deciding to use a different system. Don't ever pay "tax" on crypto only on usd and pay it as a currency exchange not any type of gain
Ethereum is still sort of strong. But nothing can compare to EOS, and I see it replacing Ethereum within 1-2 years. It's just better in every aspect. And their team is arguably one of the most experienced group in Crypto.
This guy is a clown. If he had spent just 45 minutes on Ripple's website he would know that the usecase for XRP is as a global realtime settlement asset. My god he really don't know much.

Nobody understands the immense technology of Nano. The transaction speed from peer to peer within SECONDS. BTC, ETH, DASH, etc take hours to days to transfer from one exchange to another. As soon as Nano fixes the privacy issues, it will be worth MUCH more. I will admit that the other top dogs are more secured but ONLY AT THE MOMENT. Just wait.
A very detailed article. XRP and Ripple do seem to be the leaders with settling cross borders transaction. As you said that Ripple own most of the XRP tokens that means they can manipulate the price but also it does not really make XRP decentralised. I believe XRP could make it as a digital currency (For example companies that have multiple locations could accept and use XRP as a form of payment to save money on using multiple currencies), but it does have stiff competition from Stellar lumens and Nano potentially.
Interesting with your views on Bitcoin et al. I think Bitcoin still has good value as it is the major pairing with the majority alt coin pairings. Litecoin and Bitcoin seem to be better for cheaper and faster transactions, but I think Bitcoin will be the major store of value for digital assets for the time being.
thanks my friend
