Chapter 4: Driving Traffic to Your Faucet.

Chapter 7: Extra’s & Addon’s
You can claim your own ready to go bitcoin faucet by adding
me on Skype: karl.moneyinpjs or email me at
[email protected]
Just contact me and ask for your own bitcoin faucet and I will
make a brand new faucet site just for you and I will also help
you setup and add multiple revenue streams to your new
faucet.
Once your faucet is ready to start, just add some bitcoin to the
faucet balance and I will help you with the marketing work to
deliver an instant flow of traffic 24/7.
The idea is to earn more from your revenue streams than you
give away in bitcoin. I can help anyone to add multiple revenue
streams to make sure you always profit (earn more than you
give away in the faucet).
You will need to play with the prize amounts, timer (between
claims) and the referral commission percentage. Start out with
smaller prizes and bigger timer and raise your prizes and lower
your timer as you earn more with your new multiple revenue
streams. You will find a list of revenue streams that work great
with bitcoin faucets below.
Just follow the steps below to host the bitcoin faucet on your
own website and host. You will need to know how to make a
MySQL database and know how to edit html and php files.
Step 1: Get the faucet script here:
https://faucetbox.com/en/faucetinabox
Step 2: Make a new MySQL database (in your cpanel)
Save the username, password and database name for the next
step.
Step 3: Edit the config.php file with your info from step 2. You
can leave the localhost setting for most hosts.
Step 4: Upload all the files to your website.
Step 5: Go to your website where the files are located and it
will tell you the admin password. (Make sure to save the
password in a safe place)
Step 6: Log into the admin area and you will need to fill out the
settings like:
Faucetbox API – You will need to register a new account at
http://faucetbox.com and log into your faucetbox account and
go to “my faucets” and then click the “API Key” button to find
your Faucetbox API. Copy and paste the API key into your
faucet admin panel and click the save button.
Captcha – I recommend using http://solvemedia.com for your
captcha service. You will need to make an account and add
your website to your account so you can get the (3) keys. Add
the 3 keys to your faucet admin panel and click the save button.
Prize amounts – You need to set the payout amounts and odds
of getting the prize.
Here is an example:
90000100, 2000300, 1000500, 9001000, 1005000
The above example means that we give away 100 satoshi
90,000 times out of 94,000 claims and we give away 5,000
satoshi 100 times out of 94,000 claims. So the first number is
the “weight” and the second is prize amount (weightprize,
weight*prize) and you MUST have a comma between multiple
prize amounts.
Timer – The time someone can claim free bitcoin on your
faucet. The setting is in minutes and I recommend setting this
to 60 minutes (Claim once per hour) max.
Referral Commission Percent – This is the % you will give to
affiliates for referring others to use your faucet. I recommend
setting this to at least 50% or more because the higher you go,
the more traffic you will get and the faster it will grow because
you will get more people promoting your new faucet.
Template Settings – You can make your faucet unique by
playing with all the color settings in your faucet admin panel.
Congrats! You now have a blank bitcoin faucet and you’re ready
to move to Chapter 2: Adding revenue streams.
The way to make money with bitcoin faucets is to add multiple
revenue streams to your faucet so you will make more money
than you give away. This is done by adding many different
money streams to your faucet so you’re faucet traffic will
automatically build income on all your revenue steam sites.
Once your faucet is fully loaded with revenue streams, you will
be able to start and build a steady income online only by
keeping a balance in your faucet…the more you give away, the
more you make in return through the revenue streams.
List of great revenue streams:
CoinBucks.io – Brand new way to earn bitcoin revenue by hosting surveys and
simple tasks on your faucet or website. You can add this to your faucet very
easy…just add one iframe string!
Tip: Add a new page to your faucet and place the iframe code in the page with
Banner Advertising:
This is the advertising that will make you the money to help cover your faucet
costs.
Anonymous Ads - http://a-ads.com
probably the oldest bitcoin ad network still running. Pays based on the amount of
views, but is dependent on which advertisers are advertising and their daily
budget. I have used this network on all of my bitcoin projects and have been paid
by it every time without fail. This ad network is for banner and text ads.
Minimum withdrawal - 0.0001BTC (No fee)
BitMedia – https://bitmedia.io
This is the best paying bitcoin ad network. They pay about 20K satoshi per click on
their banners. I highly recommend that you make this your #1 ad network on your
faucet to earn the most from your faucet traffic.
AdBit - http://www.adbit.co
the successor to an older Bitcoin ad network which shut down after the admin
went awol, AdBit runs on a pay-per-day bidding system. Basically, you put an ad
space on your page, and people bid on it. The higher the bid the more of a share
the advertiser has. Due to a spam of one satoshi bids, the default minimum cost
per day is 0.0001BTC. This ad network is only for banner ads.
Minimum withdrawal - 0.001BTC (0.0001BTC Network Fee)
Bee-Ads - http://www.bee-ads.com
Bee-Ads runs on the same system as AdBit, however their minimum bid is only
0.000001BTC. This ad network is only for banner ads.
Minimum withdrawal - 0.001BTC (0.0001BTC Network Fee)
BitClix - http://www.bitclix.com
BitClix runs on a pay per click system, meaning that every click on your ad gives
you a set amount that the advertiser paid for. Can be good if you have a high click
rate on your banners. This ad network is for banner and text ads.
Minimum withdrawal - 0.001BTC (0.0001BTC Network Fee)
CoinAdvert - http://www.coinadvert.net
Runs on a CPM (Cost per 1,000 views) system, mixed with the bidding system
used in AdBit and Bee-Ads. An advertiser pays for 1,000 views or more for a price
you set, and you get paid per view on that ad. This ad network is only for text
advertising.
Minimum withdrawal - 0.002BTC (0.0001BTC Network Fee)
CoinURL – https://coinurl.com
Banner ad network and a short link ad network so you can earn some bitcoin just
for converting your links to their short links.
Bitcoin PTP (Paid to Promote) - http://ptp.skillerzforum.com
The only PTP ad network that pays with bitcoin. You will get a special link and all
you have to do is add it to your faucet and say “CLICK HERE IF YOU LIKE OUR
FAUCET” and you will get paid for every hit to your link.
Google Adsense - http://www.google.com/adsense
the most popular ad network in the world. Runs off of both a cost per view and
cost per click system based on the ad. A large amount of faucets use this system.
CAUTION - Bitcoin Faucets are arguably against the ToS, so if you earn a lot of
money in a short amount of time your account may be banned. Please take care,
and do not make your faucet's funds dependent on this network.
Minimum withdrawal - Dependent on your Country and Payment method
Ultimate Instant Faucet List – You can promote all the best
bitcoin faucets with a single link or banner (below) and earn
100% of the commissions when your visitors use your list link!
Just replace the “BITCOINADDRESS” with your bitcoin address
and you will earn all the commissions from every faucet in the
list!
http://moneyinpjs.com/faucet-list/freebitcoin.php?btc=BITCOINADDRESS
You can also use some of the banners below promote your
faucet list link better.
468x60 banner -
728x90 banner -
160x600 banner -
Note: It’s a good idea to visit all the faucets in the faucet list at
least once a week because some of the faucets only pay out
referral commissions when you claim on the faucet.
In order to get your revenue streams to start and grow, you will
need to load your faucet with some bitcoin so it will start giving
the prizes to your visitors and thus your revenue streams will
being to build income.
To load your faucet just log into your faucetbox account and
click the “activate” button by the bitcoin balance to find the
deposit address.
Just send at least 0.005 to your deposit address and wait for it
to be confirmed (about 30 minutes). Once your deposit is
confirmed you will see the balance on your faucet and visitors
will begin winning the prizes.
Now just make sure to keep a balance in your faucet so your
traffic will keep flowing and you’re revenue streams will
continue to grow with no work needed! I recommend that you
keep a balance of at least 0.01 bitcoin in your faucet at all times
so it will not run out and you will notice your traffic flow
growing the longer you keep it going without going dry.
Driving traffic to your bitcoin faucet is very easy! Just contact
me on Skype (karl.moneyinpjs) and I will give your faucet a nice
boost by adding your faucet to my faucet list service.
You can also make an announcement thread at:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=212.0
Make the title in this format:
Bitcoin Faucet Name | Prizes | Timer (Ref Commission %)
And make sure to put your faucet link, prize amounts, timer
time and the referral commission you offer to affiliates in your
thread. You can also offer any banner ad offers so some people
might want to buy ad space in your faucet.
Then make sure to check the “notify me of replies” in the
advance options when making your post. Also make sure to
post any updates about your faucet from time to time to keep
your faucet thread fresh.
If you want to get even more traffic, you can invest some
bitcoin by buying some ads promoting your faucet on the major
bitcoin ad networks like Bitmedia.io or Adbit.co or you can also
check out our moneyinpjs banner ad offers here.
ALWAYS make sure you keep a balance in your faucet
because when you run out, you will lose affiliates and traffic
flow.
ALWAYS make sure to use all of the space on your faucet to
earn revenue from ad networks. Fill it up with banner ad codes
to earn the most profit.
NEVER use any type of “popup” or “popunder” ads on your
faucet because people hate them and it will drive your traffic
down over time and your revenue will go down.
NEVER tell your traffic to click on the ads because this will get
you banned from the ad networks and you will not be able to
earn revenue.
Below you will find some of the most often asked questions as
well as some ways to get help if you need it.
How do I make sure I can make a profit by running a faucet?
- It is very simple to earn a profit with a bitcoin faucet if you start
your prizes low (around 100 to 500 satoshi) and make the timer
240 minutes (4 hours). Also make sure to join as many ad
networks as you can find (except popup or popunder ads)
because you can add unlimited banner ads to your faucet so add
lots to earn the most profit.
How do faucet sites make a profit by giving away money? - Faucet sites make their income from advertising revenue from
multiple ad networks that pay them for hits and clicks they get to
any of the banners they have on the faucet. The trick to earning a
profit is by starting out with smaller prize amounts (100 satoshi –
1000 satoshi) and a longer timer (12 hours) so your faucet balance
will last longer and it gives your site time to earn more advertising
revenue. - Then you can raise the prizes and lower the timer settings to
boost you’re income streams but only do that once your faucet
has been running nonstop for at least one month. - You can also run multiple faucet sites to multiply you’re earnings
but only do this once your first faucet site is earning a good steady
or growing income.
How do I get approved for google adsense? - To get approved for “google ads” you need to have some content
on your website/faucet because they will not approve your
site/faucet if it only has one page. Try adding a few pages like
“what is bitcoin?” and “how to mine bitcoin” and you will have a
better chance to get approved to show google ads. Google
adsense is the highest paying ad network on the internet!
How do I put ads between the captcha and claim button? - If you are using one of my hosted faucets then you just need to
contact me with the banner codes and I will add them to your
faucet. - If you are hosting your own faucet then you will need to add the
banner codes manually by editing this file:
Templates/default/index.php
Scroll through the code and find
Add the banner codes above and below the captcha code (above).
Save the file and upload it to your server.
(Always keep a backup of any page you are editing in case you need to change it back!)
Below are some great extras and add-on scripts to improve your faucet
website. Note: Your faucet will already have all these extras installed if
you are using a faucet hosted by moneyinpjs.com.
Just copy the code below and paste it in your faucet
templates/default/index.php page where you want to show a live
bitcoin price widget.
