I don't feel like it will. I could see it getting squashed by regulations, but I think crypto is starting to gain too much legitimacy for it to burst. Governments/corporations getting their hands in it scares me more than anything.
Yes its going to go to be a business ot lets say some kind of professionalisation will come but i'm not really scared there are so many altcoins and as much as the marketcap increases it will be more and more difficult to manipulate the market
Bitcoin may be a bubble short term as the trade times and transaction fees make it a poor currency vs other crytpos. But long term as long if bitcoin is the main currency to trade Cryptos as we near and reach the supply cap supply and demand should move it up to very high levels in the next 10 years.
I don't trust bitcoin. The fact that it's the first and one of the least secure, as well as its unreasonable transaction fees leads me to believe that it's a sucker's bet long term.
The real money is in specialized altcoins like Ethereum, Steem, Lisk, Tron, etc. Cryptocurrencies' true value is their ability to wrest control from existing power structures. Bitcoin was a good concept, but its growth is based on hopes and dreams of financial reward, not any tangible benefits. Altcoins which serve a purpose have room to grow and are cheaper to trade while also performing actual work which benefits society, so they have real value.
If you were lucky enough to get into bitcoin early on, you should be distributing your coins into this new generation of altcoins before the bubble pops.
Right Bitcoin is more like gold as like a currency. Is a store of value but within 2018 lightning will be running then you will have very less transaction fees and the price will grow extreme it think. We will see
Why?
