I would not think he does not really have a grasp on the technology. He is saying it will end badly because all these coins are extremely overpriced on speculation(except maybe for Ethereum) . The only thing that will stop blockchain entirely is quantum computers which are still just a theory. By the time quantum computing falls into the hands of someone with malicious intent Iota should have their platform figured out. Keep calm and carry on but don't put in what you can't live without tomorrow.

Possible. If I end up in his shoes, a famous billionare off of crypto when I am 87, I would imagine I would not have much motivation to research new technology to get rich off of. People are going to ask him about the new craze and pick out the most interesting sentence to put in a clickbait article.
