“Bitcoin didn’t shoot anyone, but I just can’t invest in it anymore,” Clark Eggo, a jr. research assistant at a veterinary hospital, said in an interview Friday morning, after posting about his frustration on the cryptocurrency’s static Facebook page.
Clark has pledged to delete his desktop, mobile and paper wallets, in which he currently holds nearly $100 worth of bitcoin, after learning that the president of Bitcoin made no statements about gun violence, and appear to be taking no action against user accounts who do not publicly denounce the NRA.
No Middle Ground!
Bitcoin will lose either way.
“Our rights are being threatened. They want to take our guns away!” screamed Thomas Tancagen. “It’s time for companies to take a stand, and I refuse to do nothing when a huge Decentralized Autonomous Corporation remains silent on such a crucial issue!”
Thomas has threatened to convert his balances to cash and deposit it to a Goldman Sachs securities account.
