I just recieved an email that explained the sudden increase in fees associated with withdrawling Bitcoin. The fee was .0005XBT, now it is .0025XBT. Also, they said they will be changing this again in the future to a more dynamic fee setting system. I guess that means it will be a sliding scale based on the mining fees and other criteria (see screen shots):
