BTC-U is too close to an existing symbol BTCU.
BTU is taken
BCU is good but get's lost in the alt-coin jungle.
We've decided to go in a new direction and develop a notation that includes the platform in the name:
BTC.BTS is Bitcoin on the BitShares platform.
BTC.ETH is Bitcoin on the Ethereum platform.
and for our Pièce de résistance:
BTC.BTS.EOS is... Bitcoin on the BitShares Platform on the EOS operating system!
DPoSBTC (BTCX) doesn't sound too bad
Starting from scratch, yes. But I'm getting an education in brand building and search engine optimization that would curl your hair. Can't invest in DPoS as a brand. Need to have everything be about Fast Bitcoin, BitShares and the Hero.
SEO is not that imortant in this space. word of mouth is much stronger, that's what I learned
