Billion Dollar Bitcoin

How many people are using Bitcoin?

Most research will say less than .1% of the population..

Now if we are already at $500-$600 per bitcoin then imagine what would happen if it became used on a global scale!

Bitcoin started out at less than $1.00 it's first year, and reached a high over $1,000!

This chart doesn't really show, but Bitcoin hit a high of  $1216.73  on 11/17/2013

What's next for Bitcoin..

In the chart about you can see that with less than .1 % of the world population using bitcoin, and we already reached a price of between $500-$1200..

What will it look like when we hit 1 %?

Could it be $12k, or 10% $120k, and even at 100% it seems that $1.2 million might still be kind of low, but it would seem like at these prices there won't be too many people that have a whole bitcoin.

So I think we will start seeing transactions listed in "satoshi", and maybe even start seeing satoshi wallets! (Which this increment could easily be added to existing wallets.)

Here is a chart I made showing how satoshi is converted from BTC.

How do we get to $1 Billion per bitcoin?

Now obviously this would be a life changer to all of us, but hey imagine being the first group of 100's or even 1000's of people who made it first in the gold rush! They probably all looked around wondering how they could find a way to carry it all.. And that's how it basically is for us here in the crypto world.

So just like with gold once the masses start buying it, and using it we will start to see a lot larger investors that will buy it up. This will obviously drive the price up that much more!

But this is all theory, and I can definitely see how it could be possible especially if we still have 99.9 % population NOT using bitcoin yet!

bitcoin is kind of the "gold standard" of crypto everyone looking at it
and comparing every other coin and platform to it. I don't see it failing anytime
soon since its the representative of the entire crypto world for anyone of the masses who even remotely heard of crypto currencies.

the "gold standard" of crypto... I agree.

That all depends on bitcoin staying at the top. Maybe steemit will over take them in the future or another crypto-currency that's even better.

Finger crossed. I think it has a good chance considering the state of currencies today. Hodl.

Around .1% of the US population on a good day. As for the world population.... MUCH LESS than .1%
