The SegWit2x Fork Got Called Off!

Due to a lack of support on the upcoming Bitcoin Hard Fork, which should mainly increase the Block size to 2MB, the whole project got called off for now. Anyways the plans don´t seem to be completely abandoned 😏

But have a look yourself on the Statement towards the public for all the details as I don´t just want to post a summary on this important topic:

So now that we know that there will be no Hard Fork there will as well be no free coins for anyone right now. While many might have expected the Bitcoin price to crash due to those news it´s actually holding itself above $7000.

We´ll see wherever the next days will take us but in my opinion it´s quite likely that there will be a smaller correction to values of about $6800 just before we take off to the moon and the next target of $10.000.

Altcoins To The Sky 😍

While some may be disappointed that there will be no free coins, we all on Steemit may actually put a smile on our faces as Steem started to go towards $1 again.

But that´s not the only good news as we just experience a huge price rise among all Altcoins right now, some are even up more than 20%. It´s been a long time since we could see Coinmarketcap.com being (almost) completely green 🤑

Its about friggin' time for altcoin to rise!

Hehe I can just agree with you on that :) But let´s be patient, the day will come ;)

@steembusiness Am glad to see the development

Same here :)
The Altcoins have been at lows for too long. It´s time for a comeback ;)

Good news for Steemians and altcoinians! Bad news for bitcoinians!

Bitcoin is the Whale of Cryptos. There are just bad days for Bitcoinians but in the long term it´ll rise and rise and rise.

most people were holding on to their money to see what will happen cause they were afraid it night turn out like bitcoin gold . and after the announcement everybody opened their wallet again and started buying

The market still seems to be figuring out what to do as the latest BTC focus might have caused some insecurities among the traders.

@steembusiness Not a problem just keep dollar cost averaging as you can afford to do so....... STEEM On !

All this bloodbath and stress for nothing lol
The one who went against the market and buy the dips from alt coins got their reward from the risk they took =)
(like me)

Good post:)

how its going to impact steem?

It´ll hopefully rise ;)

Go Atcoins....

Thank goodness! I’m waiting for people to wake up and get out of this Bitcoin trance!

this is the time where people should look for dollars and dimes behind their couches, and start buying some altcoins !

Hello & Cheers!! I'm a content detection and information bot. You are receiving this reply because a short link or links have been detected in your post/comment. The purpose of this message is to inform your readers and yourself about the use of and dangers of short links.

To the readers of the post: Short links are provided by url shortening services. The short links they provide can be useful in some cases. Generally their use is benign. But as with all useful tools there are dangers. Short links can be used to hide all sorts of things. Quite frequently they are used to hide referral links for instance. While not dangerous this can be deceptive. They can also be used to hide dangerous links such as links to phishing sites, sites loaded with malware, scam sites, etc. You should always be extremely cautious before clicking on one. If you don't know and trust the poster don't click. Even if you do you should still be cautious and wary of any site you are sent to. It's always better to visit the site directly and not through a short link.

To the author of the post: While short links may be useful on some sites they are not needed on steemit. You can use markdown to format your links such as this link to steemit. It's as simple as [steemit](https://steemit.com) Unlike short links this allows the reader to see where they are going by simply hovering over the link before they click on it.

This message was created by a bot. It is part of the ongoing fight against spam and phishing attacks on steemit. If you did not use short links in your post and feel you have received this message in error you can contact @fubar-bdhr on discord or @fubar.bdhr on steemit chat to report the issue.
