That is a exactly the way to hold bitcoin :) Lightning Network is in testing stage right now as we speak, and you guys can all test it on testnet right now. BTC will come back, and when it does... when it does......

@sussane, what you are describing is a very real concern.

There are two main buying statgies:

1. Buy low and sell high - This has the greatest reward, but you can lose out if you start freaking out.
2. Buy the same amount (in fiat) per month. This way your average purchase over the course of a set time frame will even out. This is great for a HODL strategy.

When emotions start running wild, we have to step back and take a few deep breaths.

Great advice! You could se that yesterday when BTC spiked just 1000 USD there was some panic in alts. If you have active trades now stop loss is a must in my opinion. Always good to hodl some decent % btc and eth. But also the x10 potential in alts is greater than btc at this point thats why i think diversifying is good. What @Kiimo wrote could see serious gains in btc too but the x 10 and beyound is greater in alts imho.
