In this episode I’m blessed to have a guest spoken word piece by Richard Boase. Since receiving some seed funding in the form bitcoins earlier this year, I have been on a mission of painfully OVER-due diligence to catch up to the cryptocurrency revolution. It wasn’t clear to me until I discovered Richard’s article just how much of an intrinsic stake I’ve had in the game, and just how clueless I’d been over the last several years of bitcoin denial. In fact, my own punk and anarchist comrades of the crypto and cypher varieties had arguably already won the revolution in the early 90s that I’ve still been fighting in the streets for to this day. It’s taken this long for me and the rest of the code-illiterate world to slowy, and perhaps less profitably, join it.
I was infinitely grateful and intrigued to find Richard’s article because it puts it all into a riveting context and cuts through all of the financial speculative debate about bitcoin’s future, and sheds light on the radical and revolutionary spirit of the cause since the beginning.
Richard also has a great interview on the Let’s Talk Bitcoin podcast that helps clarify matters even more:

About Richard:
Richard W. Boase, born a Shell Brat under the banner of a monstrous Corporate Petro-Empire in Brunei Dara’salaam on the island of Borneo in the late seventies, is the atypical son of English scholars of linguistics and mathematics and the grandson of allied warriors.
An Uber Taxi Driver working Old London’s winding back streets to scrape a living who once blazed electric live-wire voodoo visions amongst the hot neon jungle of Tokyo’s crazed architecture, he is now no more than a prescient listener and scribe, a tantric craftsman and guide in a global psyche-sphere where Crypto-Buddhist souls drift endlessly around the peer matrices of photovoltaic cells on Terra, Sol Galactica.
He is alone.
