Governments are made to protect us and help us in need. Many of the rules government make is good and must be implemented for a country to develop and citizens to live a healthy life. But some rules really needs to be improved.
Our government banned cryptocurrency stating their may arise many crimes because of this.
This action from our government will shift our country backward in development.
There is no reason to ban bitcoin :
Possible reasons why bitcoin is banned :
Corruption
Many mainstream medias are making a huge mistake may be it is their intention to stop the growth of bitcoin or they are unknown about the technology. They are hyping that bitcoin is untraceable. But this is the biggest mistake, you can trace every transaction of bitcoin. One of the best use of bitcoin is that it will control corruption. Every transaction is stored in a block and the chain of block is blockchain. If required every information can be traced.Government not getting tax
There are many solution to it;Tax coinbase and other exchanges
My personal thought, it maybe right or wrong.
We can create a coin, example taxcoin. Citizens of a country must buy taxcoin to take the facilities given by government. Example one must pay 1 taxcoin to have electricity in their home, 2 tax coin for water, 5 tax coin for development and other things. Taxcoin can be backed by gold or petrol. This way the misuse of tax can be controlled.
What lead government of Nepal banning bitcoin :
Mining bitcoin
There were a group of people mining bitcoins from Nepal without paying electricity bill. But that must not be a reason to ban bitcoin because of this.
If this is the case then it is like banning television in Nepal because a television channel is not paying tax. It's like banning Mobile phone because Ncell is not paying tax. Completely no point !Fraud
Many scammers were either making people buy some ICO and taking the money by themselves or taking money from people and not giving bitcoins to them. But this must not be a problem because there are this type of scamming in every field.
It is like banning Nepali Rupees because someone took Nepali rupees to buy something and the seller scammed.Nepali economy
The official statement states that bitcoin is banned because Nepali Rupee must not go to an unknown source and Nepali currency value will go down.
No matter how much our government wants to regulate bitcoin, it won't be regulated. And a big thing is that good things must decrease the value of bad thing. Bitcoin is better that Nepali Rupee and it will eventually devaluate Nepali currency and every currency in the world.
So instead of banning anything you must properly know what it is. Alcohols are bad for health, why aren't they banning ? There are many things that are way way way too much bad and government don't have to take any action to it and they are banning bitcoin, this is nothing less than stupidity or bully.
Blockchain technology is must needed technology in a country like Nepal where remittance is the main source of income, corruption is killing the country and tax is misused to a very high extent. And they are banning and mainstream media are talking so much negative about bitcoin that normal people are also against it.
So banning anything is not a solution. Banning bitcoin is like banning internet because there is porn, banning hospitals because doctors sometimes kill patient due to small mistake, banning roads because there are accident, banning electricity because it may give shocks, banning pressure cooker because it may explode, banning knife because someone may suicide and this list may continue forever..........
Government must be able to give proper answer to this or this is bullying by the government, which is undemocratic.
And it is still not clear what will be the punishment for people using bitcoin. It also shows a clear sign of bullying because if someone is caught trading bitcoin, government can punish according to their will.
Thank you for reading and if you have any ideas to make our sound reach government let us know

Our central bank, Nepal Rastra Bank don't want to permit the use of untraceable currencies. They want to control every foreign currencies and the Nepalese government is keeping people far behind the latest technology. That's why their official websites are being hacked day by day. They can't adopt security policies in those and they have security policies to detect illegal cryptocurrency investing and trading. It's such a shame for our government😑
And a shame on mainstream medias too !
i like your work
you are really hepfull
seems to be there go to... Fiat can also be used in scams... dont blame the tool...

The government is filled with people who have absolutely no intention of technological development. We can all agree that there are other sectors too that needs attention but these technological limitation is what eventually leads people to shift abroad.
The government for first doesn't have any clue about concurrency and is seen as a threat. They cant build policies for it as it can't be controlled or taxed for the least.
The reason is almost similar why paypal is still not available at Nepal. The NRB bank simply doesn't want outward flow of cash as it can destroy the already weak Nepal's economy. So Nepal's debit and credit card doesn't have international payment support.
Until the younger better administration comes to Nepal, I don't see any hope yet.

Legally, Nepalese business can get involved in international investments and trades with authorization from the Nepal Rastra Bank.
The govt says they are not accepting it as currency. But do not say they are not accepting Bitcoin as anything at all.
Does that mean big players who have authority for international transactions are actually trading Bitcoin? trading bitcoin as asset?
They can't ban it. Let them try.
Use Monero, or any other private token you believe is secure.
Cryptocurrency is democracy.
You don't have to fight directly. Continue acting in the best interests of yourself and the people around you. Continue learning about and using cryptocurrency, and try to introduce the people you care about and trust to the concept.
If the government finds ways to prevent you from doing so, find ways the government can't prevent.
