I'd like to know more details about their patent. From this it sounds like they are trying to patent a vanilla blockchain function.
Something along those lines will see where this goes
More and more main stream giants will adopt blockchain systems in future. But patenting and legal binding will deter growth and innovation of new technologies dont you think?
Hopefully not that would be terrible but could be a very possible probability only time will tell
