You are absolutely correct. People who joined few weeks ago in this crypto field, just say trash about ALTs like ETH, XMR, XRP, LTC and they are believing in new ICOs. Some of them argued and say we don't know. Yeah I am not an ICO lover, coz I have bad experiences with few ICO & ITo projects. But as you said here BTC and ALTs are two sides of a same coin. When one going up then other one will fail.
Few weeks ago there was a bubble, and we have experienced a huge price drop. Then we could see a lot of fake pulses in the market. Some coins just appeared and disappeared into thin air. Actually it's complicated now. Sometimes I might feel WTH is this or WTF is going on... :/
But again this is the nature of this market, and we need to stay focus, stay patient.
