I recently read an article from the New York Times titled Making a Crypto Utopia in Puerto Rico written by Nellie Bowles. I am completely fascinated with this concept of a Crypto World.

Imagine a city where everything runs on crypto. Everything would be public, transparent and safe. Smart contracts would be utilized to make transactions trustless. You could do everything from paying your mortgage to buying lunch with crypto. The city would run with extreme efficiency. This is a city I would want to be a part of.
It is hard to imagine the city you live in now adopting the full use of crypto currencies in the near future. It is easier to imagine building a crypto city. All it takes is a like minded community to build the dream together. Puerto Rico's tax incentives make it the perfect place for this to happen. If a crypto utopia is successful in Puerto Rico, it would be a huge step forward in showing the world that every day use of crypto is practical.
This is an opportunity to create something really special. I love the idea and would love to be a part of it. So I ask my fellow Steemians what you think about this idea. Would you like to live in Crypto World?
Ya I often dream of a world run by crypto as well!
Cryptocurrency is here to change the world.

Good post...
nice to meet you
Hi @themightyvolcano.
Yesterday I wrote a post precisely about this crypto-paradise and I agree with you: it would be amazing to live in this place. It's well located, it will only be based on cryptocurrencies we so much love and will be the best prove of how Blockchain is changing the world.
I hope Sol (new name for "Puertopia" after some corrections made to the name) sees daylight very soon.
good post
