Insightful post @thecryptofiend - LTC does likely have a coveted place in the cryptosphere... XEM also seems to be a sleeping giant of sorts. Regarding this flippening, both chains have shown they cannot handle mass adoption yet which is an important technical hurdle which will likely be overcome in due time.
