It never is. I would love to have been in on the meetings where the integration of Bash and Windows 10 was first brought up. I am sure there was a lot of fireworks at that meeting. Same for something like this. It just makes sense that they are working on it though - they dabbled with BTC and see how it works and are probably preparing their own creation.
The problem is, considering this is Microsoft, we won't see it launch, if ever, until somewhere around 2120 or so at the rate they do things.
