Yes it is completely makes sense to invest in Bitcoin.
Let’s have a look at Bitcoin Prices in 3 time-periods since it started:
1. Jan 2011 - Jan 2012 - The price went from few cents to 30 USD and again back to 5 USD.
2. Jan 2013 - Jan 2015 - Again something similar happened in this time period and the price reached 1100 USD.
3. Jan 2015 - Present (08-Jul-2017) - The Bitcoin Prices reached all time high of around 2900 USD.
Looking at the previous history of prices, I think bitcoin prices will go down to around 2000 USD by August 2017 and will start rallying again. I am expecting this time it will touch around 5000 - 6000 USD by 2018.
it's all hype right? the real question is which blockchain will survive? and will there be one blockchain to rule them all in 5 - 10 years.
I think it's a bubble and it'll burst soon
its a big bubble... it would be sad if its just people trying to get rich. I like to think bitcoin is something special.. and that hodlers grow in numbers.
Previous market conditions are not predicative of the future in any way.
First we must get past $3k.
To convince people to change from physical assets to a digital one, that is surrounded by controversy and news stories about hacking and such is a pretty hard sell. Although if only 5% of the current holdings in gold where transfered to BTC it is true we would see a ralley like you expect. Question is, would you put 5 million in bitcoin if you had it, or gold in a vault?
