I think it's better to bookmark something interesting first before reading it, as it's easier to simply remove the bookmark once you no longer find the content interesting after reading it (one or more times) rather than forgetting to bookmark after reading it and then struggling to recall (from your browsing history) what you read when you decide to come back to it. 🤔🤯🤓
Yes, that's a useful modus operandi, though I usually only bookmark things that I'm pretty sure will be useful in the future. I have bookmarks across Ecency and PeakD. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
It may sometimes be hard to know if something will be useful in the future unless "the future has arrived". 🤔🤯 That's why it's probably better to bookmark more than less, especially since you like more information than less. 😅

True, it's very challenging to predict future conditions, but preparing for multiple different eventualities goes a long way indeed! Yes, I do like more information rather than less, but I also like relevant bookmarks, so I remove ones that I know that I won't need again, to keep things at least somewhat tidy. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Maybe have another set of bookmarks (either right on your web browser or on a note-taking app) that are labelled "less important" so that you keep your primary, relevant bookmarks tidy without losing potentially useful information for the future. 🤔🤓😏
