Zero Carbon. Clean, low-cost energy using Blockchain technology.

in #bitcoin6 years ago

We have all heard the word "environmental pollution" before, but knowing it is very important because knowing it is the best way to avoid or at least reduce it... The term "clean energy" is also used as it is a system of energy production that excludes any pollution or the management through which we dispose of all hazardous waste for our planet. Clean energies are, therefore, those that do not generate waste. So in this case I'd like to talk to you about an interesting project called Zero Carbon

The Zero Carbon Project is tackling climate change through the use of the block chain and international carbon credits.

The climate change challenge has been well met with a significant reduction in costs. However, there is concern that renewable energies are still too expensive, so the impact on carbon emissions is slow.

The Zero Carbon Project consists of 2 phases:

  • Provide energy at a lower price than existing renewable energy and fossil fuel contracts

  • Encourage people to use Project , to provide a block chain-based stimulus plan to reward consumers for participating in Project Zero Carbon and encourage consumer action.

What problem is being solved?

In the case of climate change, there are devastating risks with uncertain deadlines.

While renewable energy technologies are developing favourably, their price is still too high, so their impact on carbon emissions remains slow.

Although consumers are concerned about climate change, they continue to use more affordable electricity generated from fossil fuels.

The solution offered by Zero Carbon

Functioning of the zero carbon market

Zero-carbon energy suppliers can rely on fossil fuels, but must pay a small premium to offset carbon emissions through international carbon credits.

In order to cover the carbon offset premium and to be able to surpass fossil fuel prices, the market applies intense competition by attracting a wide range of suppliers to the market with their best carbon-free energy tariffs, specifically adapted to the size, location and usage pattern of our consumers.

Suppliers deliver their best carbon-free energy offers
Bids are clearly compared through similar comparisons, using an online switching system for households and an online reverse auction system for large companies.
Consumers choose their cheapest contract option of choice in our market.
The consumer signs the contract with the winning energy supplier.

How the Energis token economy works

The Energis tokens were designed to be valuable in order to act as catalysts for change and provide incentives for consumers to contribute to the fight against climate change.

Smart contracts have been deployed in the block chain to manage the use and flow of Energis token transactions in the Energis economy.

Token NRG
Price 1 NRG = 0.10 USD
Price 1 NRG = 0.2 USD
MVP/Prototype Available
Platform Ethereum
Accepting ETH
Soft cap 2,000,000,000 USD
Hard cap 20,000,000 USD
Country UK
Whitelist/KYC KYC & Whitelist
Restricted areas USA, Japan, China

This is intended to ensure that up to 70% of the transaction fees received by the Project are "recycled" and delivered to consumers as a reward for participating in the Zero Carbon Project. Energy suppliers and consumers ("Customers") may sell Energis tokens to other customers, including energy suppliers who purchase them for the payment of transaction fees. This is Energis' business cycle.
