I'm still skeptical. However, many serious investors, especially in precious metals, are quite pessimistic about Bitcoin or crypto - currency.

I was skeptical about Bitcoin for a while, but you can't argue that it has made a lot of people rich. I think some big losses can be made as well, but that's just the nature of the game. Don't invest more than you can lose applies here. This also doesn't mean that gold/silver don't have a place. Both coexist and in my opinion, should coexist, in some form in someone's investments.
I meant I was skeptical that Bitcoin is just a ponzi scheme or scam. I think it definitely has a place for investors with aggressive inclinations, as well as other cryptos. I would fall more heavily on the gold side for long term preservation, but I definitely see cryptos as full of opportunities, despite many of their problems (hacking exchanges, insider trading, etc). One thing gold and crypto people agree on is that government and central banking are the real problems.
