Ether market cap is already more than 1/2 the amount of Bitcoin (in less than 1/2 the time) since it went live. It's trading volume is ridiculously high. Ether is coming into its own now. Bitcoin is no longer the "Gold" Standard of cryptocurrencies. Ether is. If the volume of trading stays at this pace it will overtake Bitcoin. I fully expect Ether volume of trading to increase even more today and after the Chinese Ether offering. Ether is drastically gaining momentum and the value will be something no one will expect. You'll see a big rise overnight, but then you will see it level and then continue to rise as it overtakes Bitcoin. This is why Bitcoin must fork, and Bitcoin is looking for ways to do this without loosing all the Bitcoin holders and Miners. Its going to be tough for Bitcoin, but Bitcoin is like Litecoin. It simply has no practical applications. Perfect for the Darkweb, but besides that, it has no practical applications in the real world. Ether has unlimited potential in the real world and as it stands it is gaining more and more capabilities. I'm working with the code myself and see the extent of the Ethereum Platform capabilities. You can be sure Oracle, Microsoft, and all the big US companies have bought millions of dollars of Ether. It been in the news for months. All these meetings that have taken place over the last couple of weeks have positioned Ether to overtake Bitcoin, and I believe they are trying to push Bitcoin out. There is not much Bitcoin can do. If they Segwit, they will lose. If they come to some compromise with or without Segwit, it will still loose. Ether is simply to established at this point. The Chinese market opening the doors to Ether is proving this. Even if you think $200 is a lot now, wait and see what Ether looks like in a month.
I fully expect Ether to take over Bitcoin and this volume trading you are seeing is Bitcoin sell off and Ether buying. Ether is so much more appealing to everyone. Its cheaper, its potential is unlimited, and its simply positioned beautifully. Vitalik Buterin is a genius. This guy blows my mind. He left Bitcoin and started Ether. Listen to him. When he says something it make the crypto world move.
in the beginning 80 millions ether, today over 92 and steadily growing... bitcoin is limited, ether isn't. so you really think, ether is cheaper? pls be aware...
