I was thinking about digital currency and steemit at the local small village coffee house and I overheard two older gentleman talking about money in a heated debate while drinking their coffee. One man said after he took a sip and gently placed it onto it's saucer. No my friend he said. Money is like a donkey. You want it out in the field to get every moment of energy out of it. If it rests too long it will get old, fast. The other gentleman smiled and said. Yes my friend you are right. Money is like a donkey. You want it somewhere safe so it is available at a moments notice. If it's in the field all day, every day, it is possible to get lost or hurt without it's thoughtful use. Then you have nothing. He put his coffee down and the debate went on. But that conversation made me think. With steemit you get both. The use of the steem power to enhance your and other peoples value, and the savings of steem that builds with time, ready to be used at a moments notice. One multiplies the other and compartments the other. Those two economist were on their way to understanding the steemit concept. If they were only programmers. They would be rich! I hope you enjoyed The debate.

thank you.
None taken but donkey is a living being. Somehow people forget to even acknowledge that animals come with at least certain level of consciousness and they’re more than just food transport medium and so on. Like this one woman on YouTube she was saying something about turkey(the bird) and kept on calling it food and she was arguing something about how living beings should be given some value and all that but yet again she kept on calling turkey food. It was ridiculous.
The donkey was only a metaphor. Sorry you did not like the story. All the best.
No actually it was a bad metaphor but okay, all the best too.
