Hello Steemians I have compiled a list of my favorite and most useful groups and people in social media for you. These have all helped me tremendously, my learning curve would have been much larger if I had not found who I did. Take everyones advice in world of crypto with a grain of salt and always do further research before you make financial decisions. Then below I will give you an update on the spare change portfolio
I had a twitter account I never used, until crypto came into my life, now I am checking it on the daily for updates and insights. Be aware there are many impostors on twitter trying to scam people by making user names very similar to users with large following. That said I triple checked the spelling on all these user names, but never send crypto to someone who is promising to send a larger amount back in return

TELEGRAM
Telegram is a must for those in the cryptoverse. Pretty much every coin has its own Telegram group, upcoming ICOs often want you to join their Telegram to get white listed, and its also filled with tons of signal channels and pump groups. I highly recommend staying away from pump and dump groups as I see them as cancerous as a whole to the crypto economy. I am a member of a few, only as reference as to not be buying a coin on a false premise of pump groups propping them up, only to dump on you in the near future.
I do not feel comfortable sharing direct links for signal channels as I can offer no personally verified track record for them. But I still think it is good to follow as a large signal group can have a pump effect as well. For instance a few weeks ago Palm Beach recommended buying CND, and as a result to price increase was substantial. By following them, you can avoid purchasing at the peak of that groups purchasing. https://www.facebook.com/groups/218612071968287/ - Crypto Coin Trader: out of all the groups I am in, this one is my favorite. The admin team is amazing and super involved, the founder Joe Blackburn does live interviews. I love that my news feed is mostly filled with this group.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/CCInvestingCommunity/ - Cryptocurrency Investing: Slightly larger group than CCT, but doesn’t take over my news feed as is each post must be approved by an admin. The content here is also of high quality compared to most crypto FB groups.
Also a shoutout to Steemit posters from CCT who brought awareness of the platform to me, and inspired me to start this blog.

SPARE CHANGE =====> CRYPTO COINS
I am slightly tweaking the name from Coins into Bitcoins to Spare Change into Crypto Coins.
Just a quick recap I started with $156 worth of USD coins, and bought roughly 1.8% of a bitcoin, then transfered to an exchange and traded for Ethereum Classic.
I think thats a good sign when your coin is on the front page of the exchange 😜
I traded for the ETC at a little less than 280000 Satoshi, and here is where we are at today

Ya ya, for now I am enjoying doing the math manually, as the portfolio becomes more complex I can upload the data into an app.
