I have to disagree with you. You left out the fact that you can mine alternate currencies such as Etherium or Expanse with video cards and then trade them for bitcoins.
My friend started mining a year ago with 800 dollars worth of equipment and he made over 10 grand after holding onto the coins and waiting for them to appreciate. Also, random things can happen with crypto currency. Ethereum just forked and he made more than one bitcoin overnight.
I do like the premise of your article, which was improving and investing in yourself, and also coming out against gambling.

Sure you got the point mate! I totally agree with you, you can mine alt coins and get profit, that's correct. But, in this article i was talking just about bitcoin. People are still trying to mine bitcoin in 2016, trust me. And that's a mistake, becouse they are losing. Even if they are going to Cloud Mining, they will lose. There is not such a thing right now, only scams.

I definitely agree with you about the fact that mining bitcoin directly is a losing game. Cloud mining is another guaranteed loss. The equipment costs are astronomical and the returns are small.
