Recently I can't help but feel that digital currencies are at war with one another while some people may say that they are not at war and they all have their different functions and uses but it is worth considering that after the success of bitcoins, a lot of other digital coins have been invented. As of today, we have over 700 digital currencies and more are still coming up making it feel like they are competing with each other. And like the classical Lord of the rings Bitcoin remain the Lord over all other digital coins.However, the million dollar question is "will it remain the king forever" considering the current costs of transactions,the rise in unconfirmed transactions in the block chain world and the different problems which other coins are claiming they can solve.The truth is Nobody Knows. And yes I can hear Bitcoin Fans saying it can't crash and it is getting legalized in many countries e.t.c but we should remember that the future is unpredictable. In conclusion, Never put your eggs in one basket because the future is unpredictable and diversification remains the best strategy.
NOTE: I am also a great fan of bitcoin and I believe it is great too but I also believe in diversification. Thanks and don't crucify me.
