From Cointelegraph
Former BitConnect investors have filed a class action lawsuit Wednesday, Jan. 24, seeking compensation from the company that was found out to be a Ponzi scheme and has shut down on Jan. 17.Read more: https://cointelegraph.com/news/investors-file-class-action-lawsuit-against-bitconnect-following-its-shutdownThe class action complaint states that BitConnect issued cryptocurrency tokens that were actually unregistered securities and collected additional funds via a "wide-ranging Ponzi scheme."
The complaint has been filed by six individuals on their own behalf, as well as that of all other persons who have lost their money by investing into BitConnect. The six plaintiffs stated that their personal losses amounted to $771,000.
Critics continue to rejoice with bouts of "I told you so". So does anyone else think the list of victims they've published is a suckers list? That class action lawsuit may become some shadey spammer's future marketing list.

Thanks for sharing this news..i like bitcoin...i appreciate your every post..carry on my dear,
Nice informational post.
I truly feel for all the victims whom got scammed by Bitconnect. Hopefully, once cheated, they will wise up and become more diligent in the future.
Someone needs to file a class action Lawsuit against Trevon and crypto nick ..the absolute scums are now promoting Devor ..basically Bitconnect 2.0
Still thinking of the reason for the sudden shut down by bitconnect! I pray the investors win the lawsuit at least they can get some money back.
They all knew it was a Ponzi/pyramid hybrid with elements of High Yield Investment Program (HYIP) and Multi Level Marketing (MLM).
They were all simply blinded by greed!
Did any of them mention how much money they MADE first?
It is definitively a suckers list. Bitconnect was a well known scam. If you fell for it you were either an idiot, gullible too greedy or all of them. Either way, I do not fell so sure for the victims. On the other hand, the scammers should be punished for their crimes. So kudos to Nelson and co-suckers for serving a good cause. I hope they have learnt their lesson:)
Bye bye, not gonna see a single cent...
