People are always quick to place blame on anything or anyone but themselves. The whole point of crypto is for you to have total control of your finances. Which includes educating yourself. I’m sorry but if you took you’re entire life savings and put in all in any investment then you’re an idiot and you should not be investing in anything at all. It’s greed plain and simple. If these same people sent their bitcoin to the wrong wallet address and started crying about it who is to blame ? The block chain ? When they made their initial investment from interest payments why did they not withdraw it ? Because of greed and not thinking ahead. Regardless of whether you think it’s a ponzi or not is irrelevant. The housing market crash from the same banks that everyone continues to invest in was a scam and yet still people are still supporting it. In crypto you are completely responsible for what you do with your coins so the lesson here is to do your research, don’t be greedy, only invest what you can afford to lose and take responsibility for your own actions.
