So I just saw their update. The site will be locked out for 2 days pending investigation and auditing into a glitch where some users received more funds that what they were supposed receive due to some type of exploit.
Bitconnect claims that they will be done with the auditing/investigation in the next two days, at which time the site SHOULD be back to normal.
So in the next few days we will know more.

It is kinda weird that people were able to take money out in BCC and BTC through a glitch and that the owner was able to be contacted by some youtuber girl without many subs but I bet they are back online before the given time.
According to the announcement it will be back on the 27th.
Their explanation seems very similar to what happened at CoinPayments recently, where hackers were able to withdraw Ripple from other people's accounts - even more than what was on balance.

thats nice, been watching the drama going on with BCC for a long time now. If its a scam for real, then its well taught out, this coin has seen rise in profit to high heavens and that is something magnificent indeed.
My only fear right now is that should BCC crash at a very good value, then the whole cryptoecosystem could be seen or looked at as one big scam event.

Just check and saw that there was a huge exploitation by some users !
there wasn't any exploitation....their system wrongfully shown incorrect amount...whether the bitcoins were created out of thin air I'm not sure!!

These sites at the end of their closure often give these type of hacking or exploiting excuses. I feel now really safe that I planned many times to invest here but may be my good luck did not allow me to do this. I hope you have received your seed money from it.
