There has been a lot of talk about Bitconnectx, and sadly, many of us woke up in the US that morning to be seen with a message saying we can’t participate in the ICO. A lot of speculation has concluded that the ICO isn’t available in the US due to the cease and desist order in Texas.
In my opinion, that is NOT the reason behind banning US citizens. If they were worried about Texas, they could have done the same thing they did with Bitconnect and ask what state you were from. This simply isn’t the case.
The real reason behind banning US citizens from the ICO, in my opinion, is because of Bitconnectx price after the ICO. By banning US citizens, they are banning part of the interest for Bitconnectx. They know the ICO will probably reach the hard cap without US citizens, and when US citizens can finally buy tokens on the exchange, it will create a massive surge of demand that wasn’t there before. This will essentially pump the price up temporarily and create more demand from the US citizens than the demand lost by the pump and dumpers ICOs always have. That will then assure that the Bitconnectx price will remain higher than the ICO price. This is why I think Bitconnectx is banning US citizens.
At this time, I'm reading some of this to try to learn what's going on. Thanks for writing on this subject.
