I hear you are frustrated with the approaches of government and the proposed bill. Probably even infuriated. I imagine you are wanting more competence in how important decisions for all of us are made. Making important decisions without having information sounds scary indeed...
I wonder if you can see these people who are in the government and making bills as human beings who are doing the best they know of, just like you and me. How likely is calling them names (like "ignorant" or other) to make them rethink what they are doing? Or to make them seek more relevant information?
Would there be a way for you to describe what you would like to see, how you would like these aspects of our society to work? Maybe describing it like that can help move us closer to that kind of world.
But would seeing certain people as the enemy or bad or the source of the problems help us get to a better world?
I am not frustrated. What they are doing is simply childish and it won't work. Charlies Shrem may be frustrated having been made an example of for a year in jail.
Ignorant is not a name. It is an adjective that describes all of us. I am ignorant as to the inner workings of a fine watch. It means that I have not educated my self with that knowledge yet. If I begin to write laws governing what kinds of springs should be allowed in the manufacture of watches, then I am both ignorant and self delusional. There is a cure for the ignorance I lay on the leaders of the untidy states. They could read a bit and then understand what is and what is not in their reach.
