Congratulations on your 1000, I have a feeling you'll soar through the next 1000 :)
It definitely is a learning curve to pay attention to percentages, I have a tendency to give out fewer votes at a higher percentage at the moment as I wrap my head around it. But I definitely think you're right about the developers doing an excellent job with this fork.
Another thing I don't think has been addressed but I'm curious about-does it make a difference to rep if I give someone with a lower rep than me a full shot of a vote? I've been working under that assumption and it's part of the reason why I've been hitting certain people (yourself included) with the higher percentage. Let me know if that's accurate :)
Wow. I really don't know for sure. It will take time using trial and error to see what works best. Since I rarely use my voting power, it will take me a while to figure out the new economy. My voting power is saved for #takemyvotes winners.
I asked around a little after asking you, and the consensus is the more votes and therefore likely the more percentage of a vote since currently a one hundred percent vote is like four of our old votes, the more impact it has on raising rep. Hope that's the case, I'd like to see you break sixty. (Of course you should have long before now, but that's another issue and fortunately appears to be a past issue)
