All excellent. Except that BitUSD is a very long way from being risk-free. In one sense it's true that it has no counterparty risk, but it does have some deeply scary and hard-to-quantify risks that people need to be aware of.

E.g. the "black swan" risk. Everything about BitUSD is lovely until the one day that a single short position finds themself undercollateralized. If that ever happens, BitUSD has a stroke, throws away almost all of its collateral, and shuts down. What happens after that is impossible to quantify.

In the past two major crypto flash-crashes, large BitUSD short accounts have had collateral ratios get as low as about 1.2; if the price of BTS had fallen 16% further, BitUSD would have black-swanned.
