Hey everyone.. looking for some wisdom and input from the crowd for a noobie...
I tried doing a search and it seems others may be running into this issue but I can't quite seem to figure out what the resolution is if any?
Like others, I am feeling certain that I have the right password but it's telling me incorrect.
Is this a possible flaw/bug in the Bitshares platform? Or, am I making some noobie mistake I don't know about.
If you have any experience with this specific issue, or can tag anyone you know who has, please let me know, I would appreciate it.
I only have $75 to lose but I don't want to create a new account there (if I have screwed up in learning) if this is going to happen again because their system has issues.
Are your trying to log into Openledger?
I'm super new to this.. and wasn't sure if openledger was legit and something I should try. I have been using the Bitshares2-light on my desktop.
I'm not familiar with Bitshares2-lite. I know that Open Ledger will ask for a redirection to a new hub.
Sorry, wish I could help.
I had a problem at first, I stored my password on an encrypted thumb drive and the first couple of times I tried it, it did not work, but then it started working , I just figured it was some type of glitch.
Hi,
has your issue been solved? I am experiencing the same Thing. Password worked in the morning - then I created a new wallet using the wallet model (just wanted to check what it can do other than account model) - then tried again to Login to the account model with same account/Password that worked earlier but it is telling me 'incorrect password' now. I am more then 1000% sure of using the correct Password. Anyone has an idea what I can do?
I used to login direct to openledger on Chrome so didn't bother too much about my password as I had written it down and am generally pretty good at password keeping etc. However, logging in this evening to check my account (seeing as BTS is ticking up in value again) and it tells me password is invalid. Arggg! It seems to be that my account is now lost. And yet, I was so sure this was the correct password. No-one else could have changed it. Was it a Chrome update that caused this problem or me clearing cache and history? or is it an update/bug with openledger?
