BitShares Market Makers: Is This Group Still Active? Let’s Talk About It!
Hey everyone,
I've been a part of this group for some time now, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the current state of things in the BitShares Market Makers Telegram community. I’ve noticed a few interesting things recently👀
and thought it would be good to bring them up for discussion.
Group Activity: A Bit Quiet Lately
As some of you may have observed, the group has been relatively quiet for quite a while. The pinned message, which dates back to 2019, talks about a BitShares DEX Market Making Trading Contest, but I don’t see much follow-up or new discussions around it. The last meaningful message from a member was in December 2023, and since then, it seems like the group has been receiving more new members and junk messages than actual discussions on market making or BitShares-related topics.
What Does This Mean for Us?
It’s always great to see a growing community, but we also need to ensure that the groups we participate in are active and productive. While BitShares Market Makers has a lot of potential, I wonder if we should be looking at more current, active spaces where we can engage with other market makers, traders, and developers.
Exploring New Opportunities
If you're someone who values real-time engagement and fresh updates on BitShares, there are other channels within the ecosystem that are thriving. The BitShares Community Group is a fantastic space to engage with the latest developments, and you can always find like-minded individuals to share ideas, trade, and keep up to date with what’s happening in the decentralized world.
Also, for those interested in really getting a grasp of BitShares, I’d recommend checking out the BitShares User Manual for a comprehensive overview of how to use the platform safely and effectively. Here's the link if you’re curious: BitShares User Manual.
Let's Make It Better
We all want to see BitShares Market Makers succeed. If we feel this group could benefit from a little more activity or updates, perhaps we can start a conversation here about how we can make it more engaging for everyone. After all, as a community, we have the power to shape where we want to take BitShares together.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, and let’s keep the conversation going!
This version is more casual and focused on starting a conversation without directly calling out any issues, making it more suitable for sharing in the group without raising red flags. It subtly introduces the idea that the group may be a bit inactive, while encouraging constructive discussion and inviting members to check out other active spaces in the BitShares ecosystem.
