The community of Bitshares continues to grow, and in no small part due to the fact that there are new access points to this blockchain-platform. Probably, this is a generally correct process of ecosystem development. But the problem is that some of these access points, having made their faucet, cosmetic change of the interface, changing the name on the web application from Bitshares to their own, and also adding their assets to the "My Markets" section and eliminating many other assets and trading pairs of the decentralized exchange, begin to position themselves as independent exchanges.
Maybe it's not bad, if no one interferes. But the problem is that in their chat rooms any mention of Bitshares and other sites perceived as competitors provokes a negative reaction and immediate exclusion from the groups. And this is already a problem for many, especially for beginners, and especially in the absence of normal technical support. It is precisely at such venues of the "separatists" that I most often hear statements lately, such as the shit-exchange, it is necessary to go away from it.
This occurs despite the fact that today, undoubtedly, Bitshares is the best and user-friendly crypto-exchange platform and a decentralized exchange. However, there are exceptions when, in order not to solve problems or when they are unable to solve them, they still make references, stating that this is the Bitshares platform for technical support, it is necessary to apply to their administrators.
In this regard, I want to tell a little about all using Bitshares as a "stock exchange" engine, as supposedly independent, unwilling, apparently, "due to proud shyness" even to mention the mother platform Bitshares, and those that are fully integrated into the community Bitshares and do not hesitate to talk about this.
I tried use all that so called exchanges and eventually realized that there is nothing better than the Bitshares itself. And especially its desktop application, which, apart from its ease of use, has an obvious security advantage, which was demonstrated very clearly and convincingly by the recent successful hacker attack on the OpenLedger server where the web application was hached. Features of Bitshares can be viewed and tried here: https://bitshares.org/
It is their team of developers that constantly improves both the functional part and the interface of their applications. And only through Bitshares applications you can see all the assets in the pristine saw, without "peasant tricks", when the assets of the bridge are removed from their assets., Rudex., Open., And to all their assets, the prefix unknown is formed. And in the end, go figure out what kind of bitcoin it is: bitBTC, open.BTC, rudexBTC, bridge BTC or something else.
The second on convenience from my, absolutely personal point of view, is RuDEX - a resource for Russian-speaking users. Their site: https://rudex.org/ The RuDEX team is integrated into the Bitshares community, has a web and desktop applications that constantly updates after the Bitshares developers and updates themselves. An important advantage is good technical support, which, in my opinion, is now better than that of Bitshares.
A notable place in the Bitshares community is OpenLedger, largely due to the activity of its founder. Website: https://openledger.info/ Ronny Boesing is an experienced entrepreneur and is constantly working to popularize both his site and Bitshares in general. A significant advantage is the availability of a large number of gateways that provide input and output of crypto currency.
But the desire to trade through their "muzzle," as the access point programmers call, has recently diminished. Despite the cosmetic update of the design of the web application, nothing interesting has been introduced. Desktop application is missing. Plans to create the possibility of an institution on the platform of fiat funds, it seems, are still far-reaching prospects. And the theft of funds through their server does not add optimism.
Optimism for the Bitshares community was added by the fact that the blockbuster started using the SPARK money transfer system. They also recently acquired "their own stock exchange" on the Bitshares platform, which they claim is the first decentralized exchange in Hong Kong. Website: https://www.bitspark.io/trade
GDEX exchange: https://www.gdex.io/ A platform for the Chinese community that prevails on Bitshares. Created and maintained by one of the main investors and members of the Committee Jerry Liu (bitcrab).
CryptoBridge: https://crypto-bridge.org/ The team found its niche and actively monetize the process, offering an asset listing for $ 10,000. Judging by the activity and turnover of their assets on Bitshares, they have a well-established business today. By the way, after them and for the same price, a similar service was offered by OpenLedger. Although they could dump the price and the people would have reached out to them, too.
DEEX: https://www.deex.exchange/ New exchange. An energetic team. ICO was held under the slogan: "Exchange with a human face". As far as a human face, maybe even a child, is difficult to judge. But it works. They actively support their asset on the stock exchange.
Escodex: http://www.escodex.com/ As well as most other uses one of the older version of the Bitshares web application. They added their assets, removed all others. Moreover, even the function "Search for markets" was removed. And in some ways they may be right. It's easier and cheaper to make your access point to the platform than pay for listing on someone else's site.
EasyDEX: https://exchange.easydex.net/ About the same as Escodex, only the interface is a bit more fun, in bright colors.
XBTS: https://ex.xbts.io/ Same as the previous two. A clone with its name. True, a new, rather nice, in my opinion, version of the web application.
That's all I found at the moment. May the gods of cryptoanarchists forgive me, if I forgot someone. To all of the above, I just want to add that each of the access points has its faucet, which pays a commission for the registration of a new account and then receives a share from the commissions paid by you when transferring funds and trading on the exchange. This is the difference when registering an account. And further on your login and password you can go to any of the above exchanges and conduct any available operations.
And I want to add that our team, having no strength and desire to compete with so many access points on Bitshares, has taken a different path in terms of participation in the development of the Bitshares community. Not only for altruistic reasons, but also taking into account the interests of business structures close to us, we decided to create a system of payments and mutual settlements using mobile applications. EVRAZ Wallet is an application for Android. Now we continue to developt it.
The plans not only constantly improve the existing application, but also create new ones with varying degrees of complexity and for different tastes and needs. Those wishing to try using our Wallet, as well as take part in its testing and development, welcome. We will be glad to hear any comments and suggestions.

I am perhaps not the most technologically or crypto minded person to answer this, but I have say that my user experience with EasyDex has been a lot better than with other dexes. It was the first Dex where because of its interface, I could work out what I was doing and made my first investments into crypto using my Steemit earnings. Their Steem gateway has opened a lot of doors for me. Their customer service is second to none, I have had a couple of newbie issues that were solved within minutes on their discord server.
I think that to 'judge' and test each Dex fairly maybe you need to approach from the eyes of a newbie, rather than as a competitor that misrepresents the other options available.
I almost didn't say anything because 7 votes and 0 replies says enough but you so grossly misrepresented us that I have to say something.... after saying this about escodex (who I had never heard of until this): They added their assets, removed all others. Moreover, even the function "Search for markets" was removed.
you went on to say this about us:
"About the same as Escodex, only the interface is a bit more fun, in bright colors."
What's worse than you not even bothering to mention that we are the only ones that have a trustless password recovery option and have the only working fiat gateways on bitshares but you actually misrepresented us by implying that we removed other assets from our interface which is not true at all. If you build a good product then advertise that but don't try to build your reputation while misrepresenting people that have spent tons of time and money into solving every problem on Bitshares and acting like we only have "fun colors"... you only hurt yourself in that.
easydex does provide more solutions than just a copy of escodex with more bright colors tho :P
and thanks to them i learned about bitshares and started liking it so they help new users to get used to the ecosystem..... maybe they do it to grow there userbase but still.... i use easydex a lot cuz if i have a issue with any transaction walrus or pate (owners of easydex) solves it right away and also teaches how things work on dex ...... those things i did not find anywhere else :)
Personally I've found the crew and community behind easydex to be really friendly and helpful.
Wish you had taken the time to review them properly.
This caught my eye, have to agree here. Misrepresentation is indeed the correct term , I'd say worth looking into easydex and properly reviewing it's feature set. And update this post accordingly.
@milutin, seems from reading your post. Your a critique of bitshares. Can you please explain to me how you evelauate your consensus here, because as a active bitshare user and a Easydex mod and customer support, I personally never saw you there asking us questions at all? I can assure you the team at Easydex doesn’t lack at customer support at all, as well they do have password recovery? That you failed to write? As a critique in this, one of our best features missed? Also I’m curious on your credibility of your critique? Evaluation should be done fairly and biase in a professional way. Equality for all...isn’t this why were here in the first place @milutin. Oh yes fiat gateway? Did you miss that to, oh how about being the cheapest in fees? Guess you missed that too...and for our bright colours, thank for pointing that out. We do love our colours they shine bright and proud for all, for all DEXs and especially bitshares. Thank you for this wonderful post. Easydex.net
