Some ideas I have and looks like amphlux touched on one of them being the "redeemable" nature of converting in to real money via exchanges would be a way to reward people for using INDIE - i.e. listen to 1,000 songs and it's worth x amount of dollars.
But that doesn't incentivise people to STAY on the platform imho. If you want people to stay engaged (listeners) - then it could be that you have some "unlock" features if they get to a certain number of plays? Or share 10 songs and get an extra 100INDIE? I don't know but some incentives.
Another idea could be to get the INDIE token working with steem dollars and steem power? Reach a certain number of INDIE tokens and unlock 5 SBD?
If the INDIE tokens can be built up over time, maybe having a store (not specifically artist related but listener related) - like being able to buy headphones, vouchers for download x number of tracks in store, festival tickets, event tickets?
The scope is huge but these are just my ideas/brain farts on the topic.
Love what you are all doing with the platform, I just wish I had a work-life balance to be more actively involved with it all. I'm working on it :)

Another idea popped in to my head - you can target producers as well by collaborating with music studios. Earn x amount of INDIE and get one track mastered or something like that?
