🎭Be careful with "proposed transactions"

in #bitshares6 years ago

Good afternoon! 🙃

From time to time you can see the proposed transactions in your BitShares wallet.

In no case do not approve of them if you do not know the sender!

For example, I made two proposed transactions that occur most often. This is (1) changing your account keys and (2) direct transfer of funds from your account to someone else.

But even if you know the sender, still make sure that the transaction contains only those actions to which you agree.

To check the contents of the transaction - open the Activity tab, then click on CREATE PROPOSAL

On the opened page at the top you will see the block number, copy it. Then use any explorer.

As an example, I will use cryptofresh.com and bts.ai

Example 1

  • Look for nickname in the list that created the transaction or create proposal (Ctrl+F), on the right you see a set of letters and numbers

  • Click on them - the transaction opens. Under its description will be written Show raw transaction - click it.

  • Here we see the contents of the transaction in its raw form.

It looks like a proposal to translate 1 BTS.

Example 2

  • Follow the link https://bts.ai/, find the necessary block through the search, adding to the search bar # before the block number. (Or add the block number to the link https://bts.ai/b/)

  • Look for nickname in the list that created the transaction or create proposal (Ctrl+F), on the right you see a set of letters and numbers

  • Click on them - the transaction opens. Here you will see the raw transaction contents.

This is how (3) adding an active key with a weight of 1 looks like, without (2) deleting/changing the weight of the previous active key and without (1) changing the weight threshold.

I hope these examples will help you save your money.
