Interesting- I've used Kraken, ipayyou, Coinbase, bittrex, but not yet DEX. I'll have to check it out.

I believe DEX refers to a digital exchange on blockchain technology. Is this right? I thought all of those you mentions would be DEXs. And also tradeqwik, which is the one I am trying to use, with no success so far.

DEX is short for decentralised exchange. It is not the same as poloniex or bittrex which are centralised exchanges.
